Kia Sedona: Barometric Pressure Sensor (BPS) Repair procedures

Connect the GDS on the Data Link Connector (DLC). |
2. |
Measure the output voltage of the BPS at idle and IG ON.

Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal. |

Disconnect the barometric pressure sensor connector (A). |
3. |
Remove the mounting bolt (B) and then remove the sensor from the air cleaner assembly. |

Install the component with the specified torques. |
•
|
Note that internal damage may occur when the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect before installing. |
•
|
Insert the sensor in the installation hole and be careful not to damage sensor when installing.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Barometric pressure sensor mounting bolt:
3.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)
