Description
Vehicle information systems (UVO) based on state-of-the-art IT systems, safety and security.
   
The term "Telematics" is a compound word of telecommunication and informatics. The Telematics system uses an assortment of communication devices mounted on the vehicle to analyze various vehicle and driving conditions and keep driving safe and convenient.

 - Auto Crash Notification
When an accident occurred and airbag deployed, ACN notification will be triggered automatically.
 - SOS Emergency Assistance
It will be triggered by manually pressing the SOS button on the inside mirror.
It will connect you to emergency assistance helper.
 - Enhanced Roadside Assistance
Push the Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) button on the inside mirror and ask to operator for assistance.

Vehicle Care

 - Monthly Vehicle Health Report
Receive monthly reports of your vehicle`s health.
 - Web Vehicle Diagnostics
The customer can check the status of vehicle using telematics web server. Refer to the telematics web service manual for more information.
 - Service Link
Enables you to contact a UVO agent to schedule a service appointment and provide a description of the service needed. A recording of your request will be sent to your preferred dealer in advance of your service appointment to help them prepare for your service visit.
 - Maintenance Alert
Refer the telematics web service manual for detail information about setup mile triggered diagnostic service.
 - Recall Advisor
When any recall or campaign notification for this vehicle is sent by the KMC, it will be shown on the screen. The customer can hear notification by using IVR call, after heard the notification, the popup will be removed automatically.
 - Auto DTC notification
When the vehicle detects its own problem, this information will automatically be sent to server.

 - Stolen Vehicle Recovery
If your vehicle is stolen and a report has been filed, UVO can assist the police in recovering it.
 - Stolen Vehicle Slowdown
Law enforcement can gradually reduce the engine power of a stolen vehicle, slowing it down to safe levels.
 - Stolen Vehicle Immobilization
This feature enables law enforcement to send a signal to the stolen vehicle to immobilize the engine.
 - Curfew Alert
The customer can setup notification time interval that vehicle being used on the web or by asking operator using IVR call.
 - Speed Alert
Customer can setup notification limit of vehicle speed on the web or by asking operator using IVR call.
 - Geo-Fence
Monitor your vehicle`s movement in and out of a specified region.
 - Alarm Notification
This feature informs the owner when and where an alert is activated.
 - Panic Notification
When the panic button on the key fob is activated, the owner will be notified.
 - Valet Alert
Monitor your vehicle within a predefined boundary and receive alerts if it travels beyond your settings.

Lock and unlock the doors by using your smartphone, or by visiting MyUVO.com.
 - Car Finder
Display your vehicle''s location on your smartphone or tag its location for future reference. You can even get walking instructions to get you back to your car.
(Smartphone GPS location must be within 1-mile radius of vehicle''s location to display searched location.)

Download your search results for Points of Interest into the vehicle`s available navigation system.
 - Destination Search powered by Google
Take advantage of Google''s powerful destination search via the UVO button (voice recognition) in vehicle.

Both visual and audio guidance will help you arrive at your location.

The Customer can request roadside assistance service. Please ask operator on the IVR call.

The Customer can ask UVO account information. Please ask operator on the IVR call.

- Remote Door Control – Lock
Customer can ask Remote Door Lock service by using the Smart Phone application or on the web(CWP).
- Remote Door Control – Unlock
Customer can ask Remote Door Unlock service by using the Smart Phone application or on the web(CWP).
- Remote Horn and Lights
Customer can ask Horn&Light or Light Only services by using the Smart Phone application or on the web(CWP).
- Vehicle Remote Start
(w/ Climate and Windshield Defrost Control)
The customer can ask remote start service by using the Smart Phone application or on the web(CWP). (Automatic transmission only)
The customer can also set the temperature and control windshield defrost.
- Find My Car
The customer can check vehicle parking locaition by using the Smart Phone application.

Voice Recognition Module (VRM)

Refer the telematics web service manual for detail information about setup mile triggered diagnostic service
- Automated DTC notification
 If the vehicle found any problem on the vehicle itself, this information will be sent for server automatically.
- On-demand Diagnostics
The customer can check the status of vehicle. Customer can also check the diagnostics result on the Smart Phone application/SMS/Email/web(CWP) or asking to operator by IVR call.
- Scheduled Diagnostics
There are two kinds of scheduled diagnostic options. Please see telematics web service manual for more information.
- Driving Information
The customer can check driving history information(e.g. mileage, driving time, etc)

Geographic Information System (GIS)

- Geo-Fence
The customer can setup valid boundary of vehicle driving. It can be used for Varlet geo-fence or normal geofence. Both can be setup by web or by asking operator using IVR call.
- Send2Car
POI download can be requested via Google Maps, CWP and smartphone application.
- Google Local Search
The customer can search destination via using Google Local Search.
- Google Voice Local Search
The customer can search destination by voice via using Google Voice Local Search.
