Removal
1.
Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery and then wait for at least 30 seconds.
2.
Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels can face straight ahead.
3.
Remove the airbag module. (Refer to Restraint - "Driver Airbag (DAB) Module and Clock Spring")
4.
Disconnect the connector & lock nut (A) and then remove the steering wheel by using special service tools (09561-11001).

Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 49.0 N.m (4.0 ~ 4.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 36.2 lb-ft)

When removing the steering wheel, do not impact it by hammering as it may damage the steering column.

5.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Disassembly
1.
Disconnect the remote control switch (A).

2.
Disconnect the remote control switch connector (A).

3.
Disconnect the bezel (A).

4.
Disconnect the lower cover (A).

5.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
