Kia Sedona: Luggage Side Trim Repair procedures

Replacement

•	When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.

•	Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the rear door scuff trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Door Scuff Trim")

2.	Remove the tailgate weatherstrip. (Refer to Tailgate - " Tailgate Weatherstrip")

3.	Remove the rear transverse trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Rear Transverse Trim")

4.	Remove the tailgate piller trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Rear Piller Trim")

Lift the cover (A), then remove the second row seat belt lower anchor (B) after loosening the mounting bolt.

Tightening torque :

39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.8 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

6.	Remove the fire extinguisher bracket (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.

7.	Remove the tire mobility kit bracket (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

8.	Remove the luggage side trim (A) after loosening the screws and bolts. [LH] [RH]

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Make sure that the connectors are connected in properly.

•	Replace any damaged clips.
