Removal |

Move the shift lever to "N" range. |

Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner) |

Remove the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery") |

Loosen the nut (A) and then remove the shift cable (B) from the bracket (c).

Remove the knob (A) and boots (B) by pulling them in the
direction of the arrow after separating the boots from the console upper
cover. |
6. |
Remove the floor console assembly.

Remove the shift cable (A) from the shift lever. |
8. |
Remove the cable retainer (A) by loosening the nuts (B)

9. |
Remove the shift cable by pulling it inward. |
